Trinity Kids

A place where children can learn about God in a safe and nurturing environment.

During the service, our younger children are taught in five classrooms: Nursery (0-crawling), Younger Toddlers (walkers-24 months), Older Toddlers (25 - 36 months), Preschoolers (3-5 year olds), and Early Elementary (6-8 years old). To the left of the lobby, you will see a sign for Trinity Kids and the hallway that leads to the classrooms and check-in area.

Kids may be checked in and taken to their classroom (Nursery, Younger Toddlers, and Older Toddlers only) fifteen minutes prior to the 10:30 a.m. service. Kids in Preschool and Early Elementary classrooms should accompany their parents into the auditorium following check-in until dismissal part-way through the service. At that time, they will be accompanied by Trinity Kids volunteers to their classrooms for the remainder of the service time. All kids should be picked up at the kid’s check-in station within fifteen minutes of the conclusion of the service. School-aged children 9 years and older are welcome to remain in the worship service the entire time.

Sunday Schedule for Trinity Kids

  • Trinity Kids caregivers and teachers are creating meaningful learning experiences for children, week after week! With the help of curriculum from Truth78 and The Biggest Story, caregivers at Trinity find creative ways to share age-appropriate Bible stories for our children throughout the year.

  • Each child must be checked in prior to proceeding to their room. If you’re a guest or visiting for the first time, you should come to the check-in station staffed by the Hall Monitor to help you get your child checked-in. Members and returning guests already in our database may proceed to the self-service station. Each child receives a sticky tag with a number on it, which corresponds to a number for their parent or guardian, and will be used to claim the child after the service. Once parents and children have their stickers, the child may proceed to their room.

At the doors to the Nursery, Younger Toddler, and Older Toddler rooms will be a sign-in sheet. Each parent or guardian must sign in the child(ren) on the sheet, providing a phone number to be reached via text during the service should the need arise.

  • During the morning, Toddlers and Preschoolers will be given a small cup of water and a snack such as Veggie Straws. The Nursery Caregivers are also able to offer Baby Puffs if a child is in need of a snack.

  • Parents should take their child to the bathroom before coming to the classroom. If children are toilet-trained, they may use the bathroom on their own. Caregivers will not accompany a child into the bathroom or assist the child on the toilet. If assistance is needed, the parent or guardian will receive a text to their provided phone number. Aside from infants in the nursery, caregivers will not change diapers. If a diaper change is needed, the parent or guardian will be texted.

  • During our Sunday morning services , we provide childcare/teaching to children 8 years old and younger. All of our childcare volunteers have been vetted with background checks and applications reviewed by one or more elders. Only authorized adults (plus parent/guardians) are permitted in the Trinity Kids areas during the service.
