MATT FELTON
LEAD PASTOR
Matt grew up in North Carolina, attending college (NCSU) and seminary (SEBTS) in the Raleigh area. After pastoral stints in Washington, D.C. & Oklahoma City, he moved in 2017 to Loudoun County to plant Trinity Church. Matt is married to Natalie and together they have 4 daughters: Harper, Emersyn, Iris, and Ivy. Matt serves as the lead pastor and primary preacher at Trinity.
JAKE WRIGHT
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Jake was born in Tennessee and raised in Oklahoma. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma where he met his wife, Abby and began to sense a call to ministry. He has served various churches as an intern, pastoral assistant, and lay elder. Jake became a member at Trinity in 2023 and joined the staff in 2025. Jake and Abby have three children: Rocky, Maizy, and Stevie. Jake oversees adult discipleship, including groups, equipping classes, men’s ministry, and membership.
NICK JONES
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Nick grew up in Savannah, Georgia and after completing his undergrad at Liberty University he joined the pastoral staff at Mclean Bible Church in Northern VA. While at MBC Nick met his bride Julie and later helped to plant Grace Hill Church in Herndon VA in 2017. He completed his MABS at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2019. Nick and Julie have 3 kids: Levi, Remy, and Saija. Nick’s responsibilities at Trinity include family ministries, outreach, deacons and operations.
ANDREW G
LAY PASTOR
Andrew grew up in Northern Virginia and came to know Christ at a young age. During his high school and college years, Andrew grew in his faith, understanding of the local church, and passion for seeing the gospel go to all nations. After marrying Stephanie, they moved to Ras Al Khaimah, UAE to be a part of a gospel-preaching church plant. They spent 4 years serving in the UAE until returning to Northern VA. Andrew works in the Satellite industry, loves spending time in the outdoor with his family as well as studying and discussing God’s Word. Andrew and Stephanie have two sons.
DAN SUTHERLAND
LAY PASTOR
Dan grew up in Northern Maine, and his family lived all over the country, finally settling in this area while he was in college. He attended the University of Louisville and then the University of Virginia’s School of Law. Dan met his wife Elise at a local church, where they attended and served for over 30 years. They have been blessed with three sons, all of whom are walking with Christ. Dan and Elise hosted some of the first meetings of what would become Trinity Church of Loudoun in their home, and were thrilled to be among the group to covenant together to plant the church.
ROB WATSON
LAY PASTOR
Rob grew up in Rocky Mount, North Carolina and came to know Christ through the faithful gospel witness of his family and their local church. After graduating from college at N.C. State University, he worked in Raleigh until moving to the Washington D.C. area in 2014. Rob currently works in the technology industry in Ashburn, where he moved in 2018 along with his family to help plant Trinity. Rob is married to Caroline and together they have 4 daughters: Emmaline, Holland, Sloane, and Brinkley. Rob loves spending time with family, with his friends at Trinity, and enjoying time outdoors in beautiful Northern VA.
TED MORRIS
LAY PASTOR
Ted has spent most of his life in Northern Virginia having lived here since graduating college. He placed his faith in Christ shortly after graduating college, is married to his wife Juliana and has three children. Ted was among those who originally covenanted together to plant Trinity Church of Loudoun in 2018. Currently Ted works in the accounting profession and enjoys spending time outdoors and reading good books on Christian theology. Trinity’s Christ centered preaching, teaching and community, among other things, has deepened Ted’s love of the local church.

ELISE SUTHERLAND
CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR
Elise came to faith in Christ as a young adult through the ministry of a local church and her family. Over the last 40 years of walking with Christ she has learned to rely on the wisdom of the Bible for all areas of her life and the value of living out her faith in the context of the local church. She loves reading, cooking, and discussing theology with her three grown sons. Elise and her husband live in Aldie.
STEPHANIE BANIK
DIRECTOR OF WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Stephanie Banik was born and raised in Montana. She came to saving faith as a child, and God has graciously provided many mentors throughout her life who have helped her grow in love and knowledge of her Savior, as well as how to study God's Word and teach. Stephanie loves to serve the local church by discipling women, teaching God’s word, and training other women to teach. She continues her education in Biblical counseling through CCEF. Stephanie is married to her best friend, Jeremy, and they have four children.

DIRECTOR OF TRINITY KIDS
Stephanie was born into a military family and moved around a lot but has called Northern Virginia her home for many years. After getting married, Stephanie, her husband and their sons lived in the Middle East for four years where they were members of a church that really deepened her love for the local church and for the faithful preaching of God's word. She is thankful to be a part of Trinity where she continues to appreciate the role of the local church in her life and to sit under faithful preaching. Stephanie loves serving in Trinity Kids and seeing God's word being diligently taught to them through our awesome volunteer team!
ETHAN SNIDER
PASTORAL INTERN
Ethan was raised in Jacksonville, Florida by parents who taught him the gospel. He moved to Virginia to attend Patrick Henry College, where he studied history, classics, and government. There, he learned and experienced more of the unconditional love of God in all its personal and doctrinal richness. In his final year at PHC, Ethan became a member of Trinity. Currently, Ethan teaches humanities at Dominion Christian School, pursues graduate studies through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and works at Trinity as a pastoral intern. In his role, Ethan organizes the liturgy, leads musical worship, and occasionally helps with teaching Equipping Hour classes.

CHRIS LANG
DEACON OF FACILITIES
Christopher was born in the Netherlands but grew up in Northern Virginia for almost all of his life and returned to the area after graduating from the University of Virginia. He first became a believer through the faithful witness of his parents and saw great growth in his own faith and ecclesiology through mentorship and service in his church during his college years in Charlottesville. He was attracted to Trinity when he returned to the area by the theologically deep and faithful preaching, congregational worship, and intentional Christ-centered community at the church. He has loved his time and service at Trinity and looks forward to the continued work Christ is doing amongst her members.
AARON DE GASTYNE
DEACON OF YOUTH
Aaron was raised in Southwestern VA, was brought up in a Christian family, and received Christ and was baptized at a young age. God began to stir a desire for ministry in Aaron’s heart during his high school years and after graduation he studied Youth Ministry while in college. After getting married and moving to Northern VA in 2020 the Lord blessed him and his wife, Cara, with two daughters, Millie and Mabry. Aaron was struck by both the friendly welcome and the faithfulness to Scripture he saw at Trinity when looking for a new church, and God drew him and his family here. Aaron is passionate about ministering to middle and high school students and wants to help facilitate a ministry to students where they are seen, known, loved, and discipled to follow Christ whatever the cost.
SAM CAVE
DEACONNESS OF HOSPITALITY
Samantha hails from Seattle, Washington. She has lived and worked all over the world but has been in the DC area off and on since 2008. She grew up in a Christian family and came to know the Lord as her Savior at an early age. She met and married Ryan in college and together they have four rambunctious kiddos who keep them busy, humble, and joy-filled. Sam has spent most of her adult life working and serving in churches and parachurch ministries, in a wide variety of roles. She currently works part-time with Three Roots International, bringing the gospel in word and deed to rural, impoverished Ethiopia. Sam and Ryan are thankful to call Trinity home and to serve in the hospitality ministry.
CAROLINE WATSON
DEACONNESS OF BOOKSTALL
Originally from North Carolina, Caroline has lived in Northern VA with her husband and children for the past 9 years. An avid reader from a young age, her love for Biblically sound books grew as she earned her M.A. in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. She loves seeing the local church thrive in discipling one another through wonderful books that magnify God's grace in our lives.
NOAH RIDGE
DEACON OF TECH
Noah grew up in North Carolina, where he received the gospel from the faithful witness of his parents and deepened in his understanding of Christ and the church from high school mentors. In 2017, he moved to Northern Virginia to attend Patrick Henry College, and has worked in the IT field since graduating. Noah has been a grateful member of Trinity since 2022, enjoying its rich theological teaching, congregational worship, and members committed to each other and the glory of Christ. He rejoices to see God’s word bear fruit in this congregation, and desires to be a servant cultivating further fruitfulness among God’s people.
